FAQ
  • What are the benefits of using Solar ?
  • 1. Reduce Energy Bills  2. Safe Investment, High Returns  3.Minimal Maintenance  4.Environment Friendly. Solar is like saving for retirement, the sooner you start doing it, the better.
  • What is the process to get my system plan permitted?
  • Because solar permitting is handled by the local authority, the permitting process will vary based on where you live. Most localities require installers to file for a solar permit, the stipulations of which differ by jurisdiction. Solar permits are in place to ensure that your system is installed safely and follows local code.
  • On what roof materials can solar mountings be installed?
  • usually it can be installed on almost any kind of roof material and almost any roof structure (flat roof, inclined roof, tin roof or tile roof etc.). Our team will work out the best structure design for your roof accordingly.
  • Can you provide the strength calculation of mounting system and foundation?
  • Yes, but the strength calculation of the foundation (Pile) needs to provide land survey report and we will calculate the strength according to the land N value and nature(clay or sandy soil).
  • What information should I provide when I quest for solar structure quote?
  • Before designing, we need to confirm dimension, output power and layout of solar panel used in the project, the maximum wind speed and snow load in this area. If it is a ground project, then it needs to confirm the ground is sloping or flat; If it is a roof project, the roof height and roof structure need to be confirmed. You had better be able to provide detailed CAD drawings of roof building and so on. Other information need analyze according to the actual situation.
  • What material is used for flat roof?
  • Modern flat roofs solar mountings can use Aluminum, SUS304, EPDM synthetic rubber, etc. There are many types of solutions for your rooftop project in WINTOP. There's always a right one for you.
  • In winter, when the weather is cold, will the power generation system run out of power?
  • The power generation of PV system is indeed affected by temperature, but the influence is very small. The factors that directly affect the power generation are the irradiation intensity and sunshine as well as the operating temperature of solar panels. In winter, the temperature is lower and the sunshine time is shorter, so the electricity generation is less than that in summer, which is also a normal phenomenon.
  • What are the requirements of the installation of rooftop solar system for the surrounding environment?
  • If there is a large dust pollution source around the PV power generation system, large sand, heavy smoke and so on affect the use of light, then it will lead to a decrease in power generation.
  • What is the maximum wind resistance that your solar structure can withstand?
  • Usually ,within 60m/s wind speed is no problem for our solar structure.
